if u r a believer this is not for you........

THE GOAL - THE Blessed One thus addressed the Bhikkhus: "It is through not understanding the four noble truths, O Bhikkhus, that we had to wander so long in the weary path of samsara, both you and I. Through contact thought is born from sensation, ...and is reborn by a reproduction of its form. Starting from the simplest forms, the mind rises and falls according to deeds, but the aspirations of a Bodhisattva pursue the straight path of wisdom and righteousness, until they reach perfect Enlightenment in the Buddha. All creatures are what they are through the karma of their deeds done in former and in present existences. The rational nature of man is a spark of the true light; it is the first step on theupward road. But new births are required to insure an ascent to the summit of existence, the Enlightenment of mind and heart, where the immeasurable light of moral  comprehension is gained - which is the source of all righteousness. Having attained this higher birth, I have found the truth and have taught you the noble path that leads to the city of peace. I have shown you the way to the lake of ambrosia, which washes away all evil desire. I have given you the refreshing drink called the perception of truth, and he who drinks of it becomes free from excitement, passion, and wrongdoing. The very gods envy the bliss of him who has escaped from the floods of passion and has climbed the shores of Nirvana.  His heart is cleansed from all defilement and free from all illusion. He is like unto the lotus which grows in the water, yet not a drop of water adheres to its petals. The man who walks in the noble path lives in the world, and yet his heart is not defiled by worldly desires. He who does not see the four noble truths, he who does not understand the three characteristics and has not grounded himself in the uncreate, has still a long path to traverse by repeated births through the desert of ignorance with its mirages of illusion and through the morass of wrong. But now that you have gained comprehension, the cause of further migrations and aberrations is removed. The goal is reached. The craving of selfishness is destroyed, and the truth is attained. This is true deliverance; this is salvation; this is heaven and the bliss of a life immortal."See more

you will never understand his if u do not have the right understanding and thoughts

Remember the clear light, the pure clean white light from which everything in the universe comes, to which everything in the universe returns; the original nature of your own mind. The natural state of the universe unmanifest. Let go into the clear... light, trust it, merge with it. It is your own true nature, it is home. The visions you experience exist within your consciousness; the forms they take are determined by your past attachments, your past desires, your past fears, your past karma. These visions have no reality outside your consciousness. No matter how frightening some of them may seem, they cannot hurt you. Just let them pass through your consciousness. They will all pass in time. No need to become involved with them; no need to become attracted to the beautiful visions; no need to be repulsed by the frightening ones. No need to be seduced or excited by the sexual ones. No need to be attached to them at all. Just let them pass. If you become involved with these visions, you may wander for a long time confused. Just let them pass through your consciousness, like clouds pass through an empty sky. Fundamentally, they have no more reality than this. Remember these teachings, remember the clear light, the pure bright shining white light of your own nature, it is deathless. If you can look into the visions, you can experience and recognize that they are composed of the same pure clear white light as everything else in the universe. No matter where or how far you wander, the light is only a split second, a half-breath away. It is never too late to recognize the light.   "Gentleness, serenity, compassion, through liberation from selfish-craving - these are the fundamental teachings of the great Oriental religion of Buddhism." "Buddhist or not Buddhist, I have examined every one of the great religious systems of the world, and in none of them have I found anything to surpass, in beauty and comprehensives, the Noble Eightfold Path and the Four Noble Truths of the Buddha. I am content to shape my life according to the path." "The religion of the future will be a cosmic religion. It could transcend a personal God and avoid dogmas and theology. Covering both the natural and the spiritual, it should be based on a religious sense arising from the experience of all things, natural and spiritual, as a meaningful unity. Buddhism answers this description." "The doctrines of Buddha Dharma stand today, as unaffected by the march of time and the expansion of knowledge as when they were first enunciated. No matter to what lengths increased scientific knowledge can extend man's mental horizon, within the framework of the Dharma there is room for the acceptance and assimilation of further discovery. It does not rely for its appeal upon limited concepts of primitive minds or for its power upon the negation of thought." "Buddhism is a plan for living in such a way as to derive the highest benefit from life. It is a religion of wisdom where knowledge and intelligence predominate. The Buddha did not preach to win converts but to Enlighten listeners."   "Of the great religions of history, I prefer Buddhism ,especially in its earliest forms, because it has had the smallest element of persecution." "One should not honor only one's own religion and condemn the religions of others for this or that reason, but one should honor others religions . So doing, one helps one's own religion to grow and renders service to the other religions too. In acting otherwise, one digs the grave of one's own religion and also does harm to other religions. So concord is good: Let all listen, and be willing to listen to the doctrines professed by others." Emperor Ashoka
